Symphony Q3 net rise 35 pc at Rs 36.51 crore

Home appliance firm Symphony today reported a 35.07 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 36.51 crore for the third quarter ended March 31.

The company, which follows July to June period as its fiscal year, had reported a net profit of Rs 27.03 crore in the same quarter last year.

Symphony's net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 137.51 crore, up 21.37 per cent against Rs 113.29 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Overall expenses during the quarter stood at Rs 95.56 crore, up 19.36 per cent compared with Rs 80.06 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
 

Shares of Symphony were trading at Rs 3,210 apiece in the afternoon trade, up 6.90 per cent on the BSE.
