T'gana CM offers prayers at Jahangir Peer Dargah

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today offered prayers at the Jahangir Peer Dargah in neighbouring Ranga Reddy.

Rao, who offered a 'chadaar', announced Rs 50 crore for the all-round development of the Dargah.

"We are sanctioning Rs 50 crore on behalf of the government for overall development of Jahangir Peer Dargah, be it constructions, roads Rs 50 crore all put together so that it becomes a great tourism place," he said.

He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Md Mahmood Ali and several state ministers.

Rao had wished to visit the Dargah during the separate Telangana movement, official sources said.
