Making a foray into the Indian market, business analytics software maker Tableau Software today said it has appointed Deepak Ghodke as head of its operations in the country.
Tableau's India debut comes as the result of a sizeable domestic opportunity and Ghodke will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring success of customers, it said in a statement.
Ghodke joined the company as Director (Sales) in 2008, where he was responsible for the Central region of the US. He has been working with companies in India to educate them about the value of data analytics since his move to India in 2012.
