Take back plot leased to Associated Journals: RTI activist

According to Anil Galgali, he has written to Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, demanding cancellation of the lease.

"Instead, construct a hostel for scheduled caste students which is what the plot, located in suburban Bandra, was meant for in 1964," he said.

He claimed documents obtained by him under RTI showed that the Associated Journal company that publishes National Herald and Quami Awaz was allotted a prime plot, ostensibly for a newspaper publication and a Nehru memorial library and research centre, neither of which was built.
