Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today directed officers to take measures to prevent road accidents.
In a meeting of sub-committee here, Kataria asked the officers to install reflectors on camel carts, tractors and other such vehicles which may cause accidents on highways and also create awareness about traffic rules.
The minister also reviewed preparations for road safety week from September 21 to 26 in the state and directed the officials to make the week successful.
Health Minister Rajendra Rathore, Transport Minister Yunus Khan, DGP Manoj Bhatt, ADG Traffic P K Vyas and other officers were present in the meeting.
