Veteran actor Liam Neeson has said that the third instalment of 'Taken' would be the last film in the action-thriller franchise.

Neeson, 62, will reprise his role as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills in the third part, which is set for January 9 release, reported Contactmusic.

This time, his character is the hunted prey after he is framed for the murder of someone close to him.

"I have to go on the run, I'll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities. Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me," he said.

Neeson scored a hit with 'Taken' in 2008, followed by it successful sequel 'Taken 2' in 2012.
