Tally Solutions, a Bengaluru- based technology leader in ERP software solutions, is planning to tap emerging markets in a big way and expects to increase its current one-million customer base multiple times.

Bharat Goenka, Co-founder and Managing Director of Tally Solutions, today said the company is likely to emerge as the "technology fabric" that will drive economic growth of the world by 2030.

He said, "We will be the technology fabric that drives technology growth of the world."

Goenka told PTI on the sidelines of the launch of Tally.ERP 9 Release 5.0, a product to help businesses in India address their taxation problem.

The MD did not talk about the revenues the company aims to fetch, but said they were going to make a good impact globally. "What numbers it will translate into, time will tell, but as an impact. We believe that we are going to make this kind of an impact on the global front," he said.

"We are not playing the numbers game, but an impact game," Goenka added.

He said the company wants to extend their one million customers to a few more million in the next five years.

The company also plans to go global by tapping emerging markets more than developed ones "We will be going global. We will be betting on the emerging markets than the developed markets," he said.

Tally was looking at tapping Sub-Saharan African, Middle East and North African markets and had already opened an office in Kenya, Goenka said.

"It is very clear to us it is necessary for us to go global and the advantage it can make to the emerging markets of the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan African markets. We have just opened an office in Kenya," he said.
