: a taluk level Regional Transport Office was inaugurated in Oulgaret by Chief Minister N Rangasamy, almost two months after the first one was opened in neighbouring Villianoor.
A release from Transport Commissioner S D Sundaresan said the RTO was opened today by Chief Minister N Rangasamy and the department had been opening such offices in a phased manner at taluk levels in keeping with the promise given in the last budget session of the Assembly by the Chief Minister.
The purpose of opening such offices was to ensure there was no overcrowding in the transport complex in the town and services weres also available on fast track to vehicle owners, the Transport commissioner said.
