A supporting actor in Tamil films allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his house at Peelamedu in the city.
Suresh (44) had not visited his sister for the last four days and when she called on him, she found his house here bolted from the inside. When they broke open the door, the actor was found hanging from the ceiling of a room, police said.
The death could have occurred some four to five days ago as the body had started decomposing, they added.
