The NCC Directorate of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman Nicobar has won the All India NCC Vayu Sainik Camp Trophy for Best Directorate for the second consecutive year.
Commodore K S Aiyappa, Deputy Director General, NCC felicitated the winning team, comprising 30 boys and 12 girls here today, which won the best NCC Directorate, best flying Directorate, gold in both boys and girls competitions, an official release said.
It also won the gold medal in Aero Modelling - Static model, it said.
Over 420 boys and 180 girls from 17 NCC Directorates participated in the Air Wing related competition at All India Vayu Sainik Camp in Bangalore between October 20 and 31.
