In the women's section, favourites Chhattisgarh put up the highest score of the tournament thus far, hitting the century mark against Maharashtra.
Poonam Chaturvedi (39 points) and Sharanjeet Kaur (24 points) were on fire in the first half as Chhattisgarh built up a sizeable lead over Maharashtra to clinch a 102-65 win.
Later, Indian Railways women continued their undefeated run with a thumping 84-38 victory over Telangana.
The other Level 1 women's games were also one-sided affairs as Delhi raced past West Bengal 81-36 win.
Tamil Nadu women also made easy work of Rajasthan (66-34).
Two women's teams from the lower pool Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh also won their respective qualifier matches to move to the upper pool. Both the teams are currently undefeated.
Karnataka knocked out Odisha with a 48-24 win, while Madhya Pradesh pulled up a 73-60 victory over Chandigarh.
In the second half of the day, the Chhattisgarh women handed Telangana their second defeat of the day, albeit in a closer game.
Telangana were unable to control Chhattisgarh centre Poonam Chaturvedi who scored 57 points.
Despite a close first half, Chhattisgarh pulled away in the second half to register an 86-68 win.
Maharashtra women also won their Level 1 game today against Punjab, led by Shireen Limaye's 24 points.
With a 65-50 victory, Maharashtra women have stayed afloat in the tournament, going through to the pre-quarterfinals.
