Tamil publishing house holds exhibition in Beijing

Ravi Tamilvanan, Publisher, Manimegalai Prasuram has held an exhibition displaying books on varieties of topics.

He said since it was established by his late father Tamilvanan in 1955, it has published about 8,000 books on different topics.

As the Tamil population spread all around the world, he travelled every year to different countries to create awareness about new literature as well as to encourage habit of reading.

Chinese official radio, China Radio International has a Tamil section and has number of Chinese staff who are fluent Tamil speakers and wants to expose the Tamil works to them as well Tamil-knowing Indian expatriates working here.

 

Ravi plans to hold a similar exhibition in Shanghai on November 25.
