Tarigami seeks concrete steps on power crisis in Kashmir

Senior CPI(M) leader Mohd Yousuf Tarigami met Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today and sought steps to overcome the power crisis in the Kashmir valley during the intense winter.

The Deputy Chief Minister assured him that the grievances would be addressed in all earnestness.

Tarigami discussed the worsening power scenario in the valley especially in district Kulgam and demanded a response from the state government to overcome the severe situation.

Kulgam MLA Tarigami apprised the minister that the Nillow and Yaripora receiving stations were overloaded and there was need for their up gradation and installation of more receiving stations.
 

The Deputy Chief Minister assured him that grievances put forth shall be addresses seriously.
