A task forcewill soon be appointed towards implementation of common ticketing system for different modes of transport, a top official saidtoday.
On Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited's plans for introducing common ticket and smart cards facility to facilitate hassle-free journey for commuters both in metro rail and RTC buses and other modes of transport, HMRL ManagingDirector NVS Reddy said "We are working on it. Now a task forceis also going to be appointed."
"In fact the target given by Minister for ITand Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao is to come out with a clear scheme within two months (in this regard)," Reddy told reporters on the sidelines of an event here.
With regard to progress on the ongoing 72-kmlong elevated Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, Reddy said "We are on schedule."
Services on the Ameerpet-L B Nagar, a 16 km stretch, would be launched in August followed by Ameerpet and Hitec City (10 km) in October, he said.
Prime Minister NarendraModi had inaugurated the 30 km stretch betweenMiyapur and Nagole in November last year,
On automated smart parkingsystem, Reddy said it has been finalised for 24 metro stations on the Miyapur-Nagole sector.
"We have got a verygood investor for that. You will see a radicalchange the way Hyderabadis are going to park theirvehicles in the next few months.
The software is almost getting ready andwithout human intervention smart parking will be made available initially at 24metro stations," he said.

Referring to multi-level car parking complexes, Reddy said the Request for Proposal (RFP) for such complexes would be floated in the next 15days.
Meanwhile, Drivezy, a vehicle rentals and vehiclesharing platform, today launched its firstedition of 125 bikes 'on self-drive bike rentaloption for first/last mile connectivity' at fiveMetro Stations.
The service will be made available at Rs 3 per km.
Drivezy co-founder Abhishek Mahajan saidthey have plans to launch electric bikes also inBengaluru and based on the feasibility they wouldimplement it in Hyderabad as well.
