He said improvement in primary health care and education sectors are areas of prime focus for the state government.
He urged the officials to maintain utmost level of sanitation in the establishments after finding lack of hygiene at the hospitals.
Tassaduq said sanitation is foremost for everyone's health and no laxity should be allowed in this regard.
While interacting with the official, some patients and staff members at the hospitals also put forth their concerns.
At Kargil Boys Hostel in Bemina, Tassaduq took stock of the facilities available to the students.
The students requested his intervention in development of the sports infrastructure at the hostel, for which he assured early and prompt action.
The cinematographer-turned-politician Tassaduq, was fielded by the ruling PDP in the bypoll to Anantnag Lok Sabha seat which was scheduled to go to polls on April 12.
However, the polling was postponed by the Election Commission for six weeks in view of large-scale violence during the bypolls to Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency on April 9 that left nine persons dead and dozens others injured.
The EC later cancelled the bypoll as there was no improvement in the security situation in the four south Kashmir districts that constitute the Anantnag Lok Sabha seat.
