Tata Investment Corporation today said its net profit rose by 34 per cent to Rs 30.69 crore in the last quarter of 2015-16 financial year.
Its net profit stood at Rs 22.92 crore during the same quarter of 2014-15.
Total income for the quarter ended March 31 grew by 24.5 per cent to Rs 39.22 crore as against Rs 31.51 crore in the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Total income during the fiscal increased to Rs 251.91 crore from Rs 230.95 crore in 2014-15, it added.
Tata Investment invests in diversified portfolio of quoted and unquoted securities of companies, including Tata Companies, which are engaged in various businesses.
Shares of the company closed up by 0.58 per cent at Rs 528.30 apiece on BSE.
