Tata Motors has teamed up with e-commerce player eBay India to sell branded merchandise of its sports utility vehicle Tata Safari Storme online.
"We at Tata Motors, through our association with eBay India, will sell branded Safari Storme merchandise on our brand store on the eBay India site," Tata Motors Head-Marketing Communications, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit Delna Avari said in a statement.
Through this initiative, the company aims to further engage with the customer, who is increasingly turning to the online space, she added.
EBay India Head-Strategy Ratul Ghosh said the brand store will showcase merchandise inspired from the SUV brand exclusively for over 2.1 million active eBay consumers in India.
"Post the success of the Tata Nano brand store, we are delighted to announce the Tata Safari Storme brand store on eBay India," Ghosh added.
EBay India consumers from over 4,306 cities, towns and villages in the country will now be able to access exclusive Tata Safari Storme merchandise, from clothing to travel and camping gear, Ghosh said.
The Safari Storme online store will sell branded products, including leather key-chains, trekking bags, t-shirts, camping Swiss knives, magnetic compass and other gear.
