Tata Motors today said its global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), declined by 20.71 per cent to 80,163 units in January 2014, compared to the year-ago period.
The company had sold 1,01,112 units in the same month of 2013.
As for the passenger vehicles category, its global sales in January stood at 50,042 units, a decline of 7.12 per cent, from 53,881 units in January 2013, Tata Motors said in a statement.
Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover rose by 1.19 per cent to 38,631 units last month, compared to 38,173 in the same month of 2013.
