Tata Salt rolls out new campaign featuring Mary Kom

Tata Salt, part of the Rs 8500 crore Tata Chemicals, today rolled out a new campaign 'Maine Desh Ka Namak Khaya Hai' featuring the story of Olympic bronze medalist M C Mary Kom.

The TVC narrates the inspirational story of the pugilist, who started her journey from a poor tribal family of Manipur. It is a humble and powerful human story, the company said in a statement.

According to Tata Salt, the new campaign carries brand's philosophy forward and celebrates contemporary icons that are going beyond their own success and giving back to the country in their work domain.

Commenting on it, Tata Chemicals COO Consumer Business Ashvini Hiran said: "'Maine Desh Ka Namak Khaya Hai' is reflection of the brand's unflinching faith in the people of the country who are living the values of loyalty and are engaged in the holistic development of the nation."
 

Under this campaign, Tata Salt would encourage users to share inspiring stories of people they know who made a difference to the nation.

They can also share their stories by logging on its portal www.Deshkanamak.Com, it said.
