Tata Sky partners Madhuri Dixit to launch 'Dance Studio'

Tata Sky has partnered with Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit and her husband Shriram Nene's RnM Moving Picture to launch 'Dance Studio', which will help its interested subscribers learn various forms of dancing.

The Direct-to-home major's service will provide introduction to different dance forms ranging from Bollywood dance to specialised forms like Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop along with Salsa, Tango, the company said in a statement.

The interactive service will be available in Hindi and English for Rs 59 per month.

The launch offer would be free for the first 10 days.

"Tata Sky is delighted to launch Dance Studio in an exclusive partnership with 'Dance With Madhuri'. Now, our subscribers can not only learn dancing to the best Bollywood numbers, but also specialised dance forms like Kathak, Jazz, Street.
 

"From the actor and dancer, Madhuri Dixit herself to Pandit Birju Maharaj, Saroj Khan, Remo D'Souza, Terence Lewis, and many more, will now be accessible to everybody who want to learn how to dance," Tata Sky Chief Commercial Officer Pallavi Puri said.

Commenting on RnM Moving Picture's association with Tata Sky, Madhuri Dixit said, "Our vision was to take the passion of dance to everyone and we believe our collaboration with Tata Sky will ensure that millions of people can now learn how to dance right in their living rooms in India.

"It has been our endeavour to spread the joy of dance for which, we put in a lot of effort to select the best choreographers, who help us create content that teaches how to dance in the most systematic, authentic and convenient way possible.
