Tata Steel takes dengue preventive measures in more areas

With a view to prevent the occurrence of 'Dengue' in Kalinganagar and its nearby areas in Odisha's jajpur district, Tata Steel has expanded its Dengue preventive measures to more villages.

Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) has undertaken fogging in villages adjacent to Tata Steel plant in Kalinganagar like Raya, Nuagaon, Duburi, Chandia, Gobarghati, Dholapathar, Sansailo, Sansailo colony, Namduburi, Musakhia, Hatimunda, Golagaon, Baragadia, Belahuri and Mirgichera. It is being expanded to more villages in the area.

Further, to boost awareness on precautions against dengue, the Company has put out communication messages through hoarding boards in locations like Duburi, Danagadi, Jajpur Road, Panikoili and Chadeidhara, a company release said.
 

Apart from display of banners on dengue awareness in the plant site and periphery villages, the company is also distributing leaflets illustrating 'Preventive Measures' in Odia and Hindi among local people and employees among other measures.
