Taxi driver arrested for making bomb hoax call in Rajasthan

The entire area was searched following the threat but no suspicious object was found

A 33-year-old taxi driver was today arrested for allegedly making a hoax call to blow up a flyover in Rajasthan's Ajmer city.

The accused, identified as Yogendra, called the police control room in Ajmer and threatened that he had planted a bomb at Adarsh Nagar flyover and would blow it up, police said.

Following which the entire area was searched but no suspicious object was found, they said.

On the basis of mobile number from which the call was made, the accused was arrested, police said.
