Singer Taylor Swift, who recently did a sold-out 1989 World Tour show, donated USD 15,000 to a firefighter who saved his own family.

The 25-year-old singer donated money to firefighter Aaron Van Riper's family who were hospitalised after a car crash, reported Billboard.

A friend of Riper set up a 'Go Fund Me' account for the family's mounting medical bills. A donation of USD 15,000 was left for the family, which was signed "Taylor Swift".

It was later confirmed that it was indeed by the "Love Story" singer.
