The lone Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA from Kadapa district elected from Proddatur assembly seat M Linga Reddy agreed to extend his support to TDP candidate N Varadarajula Reddy here today and participated in his election campaign.
Linga Reddy was denied the TDP ticket for the present elections.
Sources said that he was convinced by TDP Lok Sabha candidate R Srinivas Reddy to support Varadarajula Reddy, assuring Linga Reddy of a legislative council berth after elections.
