TDP would waive off the loans taken by women self help groups in the event of the party coming to power in the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls, party president N Chandrababu Naidu said here today.

The TDP would also provide additional loans and help the self help groups regaining their past glory, he said in an open letter to women today.

The party would also provide clean drinking water in every village and also arrange toilet to every house hold, he said.

Asserting that he would take special responsibility for the safety and security of women, Naidu said a special women policing system would be put in place after coming to power.

An Inspector General-level women officer would be appointed at the state-level, a woman additional SP at district level and women CIs at division level, he said.

Naidu said he would abrogate illegal liquor shops which have became the bane of poor families in villages.

He also said the TDP government would reduce gas cylinder price and ensure supply of 10 refills per year without the involvement of Aadhaar card, he said.
