The Tea Board of India has invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from private parties for setting up of an integrated tea park here.
The location of the proposed tea park would in the Libyan Warehouse within Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) area subject to its approval, an official of Tea Board told PTI.
The park would be housed in a five-storyed building with a total space of 45,000 sq metres including common areas.

The project would involve have a minimum investment of Rs 100 crore, out of which Rs 65 crore would be in the form of upfront lease payment for 30 years to KoPT and the balance for development of the facility.
The tea park will accommodate warehousing, blending, packaging and common facilities for exports. Provisions for bank and courier services, technical support, residue laboratories, an IT corner, a business centre, a weighbridge, suppliers of paper sacks and eateries will also be a part of the project, he said.
Setting up of the park was conceived way back in 2009.
