The manager of a tea garden at Banarhat in Jalpaiguri district was gheraoed today by the workers demanding drinking water facility in the garden.
The manager S C Busten of Maraghat Tea Garden was held in his office since the morning as the workers said they were not getting drinking water supply into the garden.
Superintendent of Police Kunal Agarwal said the tea garden authorities sought the help of the police.
