The incident took place late last night near Pattan, 27 km from here, when the group was returning to Sopore after a day-long excursion to various places in Srinagar, they said.
12 students and the teacher injured in the mishap have been rushed to a local hospital where six school children were discharged after providing first-aid, police said, adding that the condition of the rest were stable.
