A inter college teacher was brutally beaten up for allegedly misbehaving with a student here, police said today.
The principal of Jaswant Mills inter college received a complaint that the teacher allegedly misbehaved with a class 11 student following which the teacher was transferred to another college, police said.
However, yesterday when villagers and students again saw the teacher in the campus, they became angry and attacked the teacher.
An FIR has been lodged in the matter by both teacher and the villagers.
The teacher is denying misbehaving with the girl and has said that he scolded her, police said, adding that an investigation has been launched into the matter.
