Ashok Ram was found hanging in his rented house in the village, the sources said.
A native of Siwan district, Ram took the extreme step after he was driven to penury for non-payment of salary for the past five months, sources said.
A medical prescription and Rs 100 were found from his room, they said.
Ram was working as a contractual teacher in Bhaura panchayat school since 2006, sources said.
