A teacher of a government-run high school died in the examination hall today while on invigilation duty for high school certificate regular examination at a centre here.
Arun Kumar Sahu, who was reportedly in his mid 50s, fell down in the examination hall and was rushed to the district headquarters hospital where he was declared brought dead, District Education Officer Markat Keshari Ray.
Hospital sources said the invigilator had died of cardiac arrest.
