A 24-year-old teacher of a
private coaching class in Nagpur drowned in Malu river at Salbuldi near here today, police said.
The incident occurred when a group of around 35 students led by the deceased, identified as Aditya Pande, was picnicking on the banks of the river, they said.
Pande entered into the river to fetch ball but drowned in the process.
His body is yet to be fished out, they added.
Pande was a resident of Reshimbaug in Nagpur.
