A 28-year-old teacher of a government elementary school in the district has been arrested for alleged sexual harassment of six class III girl students.
Duraimurugan working in the Panchayat school in Tiruchengode taluk was arrested yesterday after a complaint by parents of the students, police said.
A case under the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) had been registered against the teacher, they added.
