Following reports of spread of fever in districts of Bareilly and Badaun, the Uttar Pradesh government has constituted three teams of doctors, officials said on Saturday.
In a statement issued here, a government spokesperson said, "Of the three teams, two have been sent to Badaun, while one has been sent to Bareilly."
"The teams will be extending their help to the district administration and chief medical officers to effectively control the fever," added the official.
They will establish coordination with the district administration and ensure availability of clean drinking water and cleanliness.
They will also undertake various preventive measures in the affected villages, and also spread mass awareness in this regard, the spokesperson said.
