Tech adviser from Gurugram falls to death at plant in Kota

A 45-year-old technical adviser from Gurugram in Haryana and posted at a fertilisers plant in Kota district died after allegedly falling from a height of nearly 150 feet while on duty, police said.

The incident took place Friday when Pankaj Bhardwaj, posted at the Chambal Fertilizers and Chemical Limited (CFSL) at Gadepan here, allegedly fell from the height while working at the plant, they said.

Bhardwaj was a resident of Gurugram in Haryana and was posted as a technical advisor, Similiya police station SHO Ravish Sameriya said.

He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, Sameriya said.

Bhardwaj was living alone in Kota while his family was in Gurugram.

 

His family members arrived here Saturday after which the postmortem was conducted and the body handed over to them, Sameriya said.

On the basis of a complaint by the family members, a case under CrPC Section 174 (unnatural death) was registered, he said, adding that the matter is being probed.
