Tech M bags deal from New Hampshire's motor vehicles division

Tech Mahindra will implement its Motor Vehicle Enterprise System to replace and modernise New Hampshire DMV's existing legacy system

Press Trust of India New Delhi
IT firm Tech Mahindra today said it has inked a pact with New Hampshire's Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Tech Mahindra, under the multi-million dollar deal, will implement its Motor Vehicle Enterprise System (MOVES) to replace and modernise New Hampshire DMV's existing legacy system.

The new DMV solution will digitally manage all driver licences, financials, financial responsibility, hearings, inventory, dealers and inspection stations, it said in a statement.

The system will be implemented over a span of 22 months, it added.

"We were looking for an innovative solution that enables us to be more efficient as an organisation. We believe Tech Mahindra's MOVES solution gives us a framework that we could customise to fit our needs," State of New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles Director Rick Bailey said.

Tech Mahindra has worked closely with Microsoft in developing the Dynamics CRM-based MOVES solution.

The flexible and highly configurable solution, specially designed for motor vehicle agencies, allows them to provide customer service, compliance checks, performance measures and fraud prevention mechanisms.

"We are confident that our technology, coupled with the past projects experience, will support and enable them to be more efficient than ever," Tech Mahindra Head Strategic Accounts Arvind Malhotra said.
