Santosh Kumar Gupta, a software professional working in Bengaluru, was arrested by Pune district police on charges of conspiracy and murder of 23-year-old Antara Das.

Das was allegedly attacked by an unidentified person with a sharp-edged weapon near Kanbay chowk in Talawade in the outskirts on December 23 night, barely 500 m from her workplace.
