Teen boy ends life ahead of SSC results

A 15-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself here after fearing failure in the SSC exams, police said today.

The boy--Kaustubh Kalidas Mungekar took the extreme step last night at his home in Patil Nagar, after getting to know that SSC results would be declared soon, a official from Ambad police station said.

The suicide came to light this morning, when his parents went to wake him up, police said.

Kaustubh was studying in a local english medium school and appeared for the SSC exams in March this year.

Several dates regarding Maharashtra SSC results are floating on the social media though the state examination board is yet to announce the exact schedule.
