An 18-year-old girl attempted suicide
by pouring kerosene on herself at Kaseti village under Kotwali Dehat area following an argument with her family.
Preeti locked herself into a room yesterday and tried to kill herself after an argument with her family, Kotwali Dehat SHO Vinod Kumar said.
When her family saw smoke emanating from the room, they rushed her to a hospital in a serious condition. The doctors there referred her to Agra, he said.
Police said they have received no written information by the family in this connection.
