Teenage boy killed, three injured in firing in UP

A 14-year-old boy was killed and three others were injured in firing over a petty issue in Naglachaturbhujpur village under Dhanari police station here, police said today.

The incident occurred last night when two rival factions clashed following a dispute among their children on Wednesday, Circle Officer Pramod Kumar said.

The victim identified as Pushpendra was killed on the spot, while three others were injured in firing during the clash, he said.

The injured persons have been admitted to a hospital.

An FIR has been registered against six persons, the CO said, adding, that investigation is on into the matter.
