A 17-year-old Dalit girl, who was
raped by a youth for over a month, was rescued from here, police said today.
The accused Rahul took the girl to Jhansi with a promise to marry her and sexually assaulted her for one and a half months, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Jha said.
The girl was rescued yesterday near Chilkahar railway station here and Rahul was arrested, he said.
