A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from Rajendra Nagar industrial area in Sahibabad here this evening, police said.
According to an FIR launched by her father, the 11th class student was abducted around 5:30 pm when she went outside her residence after receiving a call from an unknown caller, SHO Sahibabad Hari Dayal Singh Yadav said
The FIR has been registered against unknown caller under IPC sections 363 and 366.
Police was tracing the identity of the caller with the help of electronic surveillance, the SHO said, adding the abductor will be nabbed soon.
