A 17-year-old girl was allegedly "married" to three different men in last two years and pushed into prostitution by her parents, police said today.

The teenager lodged a complaint with Kanchanbagh police here, accusing her father and step-mother of marrying her to an Arab national, with whom she stayed in Mumbai for 10 days, they said.

The girl also alleged that she was married to another person and then to a Sudanese national last week and was also pushed into flesh trade by her parents, police said.

She alleged her parents had earned lakhs of rupees, according to police.

Based on the complaint, a case of rape under relevant sections of IPC and Nirbhaya Act, besides under relevant provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) has been booked, a police official said.

Police said they had taken the girl's parents into custody and are questioning them to find out more details and involvement, if any, of other persons.
