A 17-year-old girl died while her three friends were injured when a mound of earth caved in on them while digging near a pond at Jatuwas village today, police said.
The villagers, who pull out the girls of the caved-in sand, brought them to the trauma centre here where the doctors referred Sharmila and Hema, who were in a critical condition, to PGIMS, Rohtak.
Sharmila, a first-year student of BA, succumbed to her injuries during treatment whereas Hema was still battling for life, they said.
