A 16-year-old girl was killed when the tempo three-wheeler in which she was travelling turned turtle near Gumba Garden area here, police said today.
Shivangi, a class X student, was killed yesterday, they said.
The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead, police said.
Meanwhile, in a second such incident, 18-year-old Gopal was killed when a speeding truck hit his motorcycle while he was returning from a nursing home after visiting his ailing sister yesterday near Harjinder Nagar square, they said.
Gopal, a high school student, died on the spot, police said.
In another incident, farmer Mukesh (45) was on his way to a family function last night when a speeding truck hit his motorcycle at Gajaini killing him on spot, they said.
The bodies were sent for postmortems, police said, adding, FIRs have been registered in all three cases.
