Death of an 18-year old local girl has turned out to be a case of murder, which police suspect was committed by her brother over her 'affair' with someone.

"Later, police got some clues about the incident from her relatives and neighbours. The investigation revealed that the her brother Vijay aka Nakul Rathod (26) suspected that his sister had an affair with someone. This suspicion led to the disputes among brother and sister on several occasions," the officer said.
On the day of incident, the girl left her home saying she was going to a relative's place.
"The brother later also reached the residence of this relative and found that she was not there. On her return, the brother had a heated argument with the girl and started beating her. Later, he allegedly strangulated the girl," Yadav said.
