Unable to bear the trauma of four persons trying to outrage her modesty, a 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide here today.
Four persons tried to rape the girl, daughter of a policeman, at a secluded place in Jaswantnagar area while she was going to attend tuition classes, police said.
On reaching home, the girl swallowed some poisonous substance and was admitted to a hospital at Sefai where she died, they said.
Two persons had been arrested in this connection, police said.
