A teenage girl was strangulated allegedly by two youths who failed to rape her in Khekhda area here following which the accused were arrested, police said today.
The 13-year-old girl was missing from her house since yesterday and her body was found near a forest here, police said.
On a complaint of the family members, an FIR has been registered against Shakir and Imran, both 20 years old, following which they were nabbed by the police.
During an interrogation, they confessed to their crime and said that they strangulated the girl as they were afraid that she would narrate the incident to her family members, they said.
