Teenaged girl kidnapped and gangraped in Hisar

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, drugged, and gang-raped by six persons in Kuleri village in Hisar district, police said today.

In a complaint lodged with Agroha Police Station, the minor said that the incident took place last night when she had gone to tie the cattle as it was raining.

Two youths came on a motorcycle and they overpowered her and forcibly took her to a field where four persons were already present, police said, adding, the six gang-raped her.

Later, they ran away after throwing her near the cattle compound, situated close to her house.

The victim somehow reached home and narrated the incident to her mother, who approached the police.
 

After the victim's medical examination, the police have registered a case against Sonu, Dinesh, Rafik Khan, Sanjay, all residents of village Kuleri and two other unknown persons.

Police today said that a case has been registered under Sections 328 (administering drug/intoxicant with intent to cause hurt), 342 (wrongfully restraining any person), 506 (criminal intimidation), 376 (rape) of IPC and under the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

Efforts were on to arrest the accused, police said.
