Teenager dies, three injured in road mishap in Doda

A15-year-old boy was today killed, while three persons were critically injured when a passenger vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The vehicle which was on its way from Phagsoo to Thathri veered off the road near a Grid Station, a police officer said.

"Police immediately rushed to the spot and, along with locals, rescued the passengers from the ill-fated vehicle and shifted them to the Thathri Hospital fromwhere they were shifted to a district hospital in Doda," Station House officer (SHO) Thathri, Vinay Parihaar said.
 

He said one of the victims identified as Mohammed Imran succumbed to his injuries while on way to Doda, while three officers have been airlifted to the Government Medical College, Jammu.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.
